Pastoral Care and PrayerPastoral CareThe Baptist Church, St Peter's, is well known for being a friendly, caring, and loving church and every member is encouraged to help with the pastoral care There is a team of people who are committed to making sure that everyone is cared for within our church family. These people meet regularly to pray about the needs of our fellowship and to ensure that everyone is cared for in whatever way is appropriate. For more sensitive needs, the minister can give practical and spiritual advice PrayerAs part of the church family, you are encouraged to share your prayer requests with us. We can either help you to find support within an Encounter Group or, if it is of a confidential nature, we can guide you to someone in our fellowship who can be asked to meet and pray with you. The Prayer ChainFor urgent prayer, The Prayer Chain is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is available for those who regularly attend the church by telephone, as well as on-line via a special form. Requests are sent to the co-ordinator who then passes it on to those people on the Prayer chain list who are willing to pray for you at any time. No problem is too smallor large. Where appropriate, confidential prayer requests may be sent to smaller group within the church's pastoral care group Printed and hosted by Prater Raines Ltd, 98 Sandgate High Street, Folkestone CT20 3BY.© 2002-2008 The Baptist Church, St Peter's—All rights reserved |
