As a church, we support missionary work, not just elsewhere in the UK, but also overseas too.

• Home Mission-Our fellowship has been a beneficiary of Home Mission in the past, when we found it difficult as a congregation to fund a full-time pastor. As our finances have improved, we are able to help other fellowships through Home Mission, and can look to their help and guidance when considering any new initiatives to reach out to our community, eg Church planting

• BMS World Mission-Our congregation has long taken an interest in the work of Adrian and Sylvia Hopkins. Adrian is seconded to Christian Blind Mission and brings to this role his medical and organisational skills to further the efforts of many organisations and individuals to combat blindness, particularly in a large number of central African countries. Sylvia works as the assistant principal of St Austin's Academy and is head of the junior school there in Nairobi. The Hopkins keep in touch with regular newsletters and visit us when on furlough

• Tear Fund-Support for Tear Fund - the church is represented at the local Thanet support group and hosts their meetings on a rotating basis with a number of other churches around Thanet. Tearfund works through local churches and Christian agencies - their partners - to open up brighter futures for the world's poorest communities
